Tuning is the most essential form of maintenance for your piano. Regular tunings keep your piano sounding at its best, and prolong its life for years to come.
Pianos that are played frequently should be tuned twice a year to maintain the pitch.

A service is like an MOT for your piano: it keeps your piano in top condition, working to produce the best sound possible.
A comprehensive full-day service includes a complete clean of the piano, inside and out, adjustment of the keys and the interior mechanism to provide the best possible performance, and a tuning.
If your piano is regularly maintained, a half-day service should be enough to keep it sounding and playing as you want it. This includes a complete clean of the piano, routine maintenance to combat wear and tear, and a tuning.
I would recommend having your piano serviced every three to five years.
Full Clean and Tune: £85
Half-Day Service: £150
Full-Day Service: £300

Like any intricate machine, a piano will sometimes require some repair work. Sticking keys, thumping pedals and broken strings are common problems that are easily fixed on site at the same time as tuning.
More in-depth issues such as hammer or key replacement are discussed on a case-by-case basis, which I am more than happy to do.
Quick repairs are provided at no extra cost.
More serious repairs or replacement work is charged at £45 per hour plus the cost of replacement parts.
